My Comments:

Pretty nice idea here. Perhaps a size variation to fit your area. Could easily deviate the style and relate to your "area", i.e., more style to arms and a variation to the back profile. Perhaps a triangle cut out our two. Could use stronger wood to make it look stronger and be more durable (ex: 2x4 frame sturcture and arms, etc.)
