My Comments:

Very much a classic look in how this is presented. The folks who did this finished it with a "marble" paint kit treatment. It's wood. You could certainly do the same. Or, leave it wood or paint it, it's up to you. As shown, I would "weight" the bottom to avoid easy tips. Height could vary. Perhaps three or five of them at various heights. Width and depth: it's up to you.
